The AICE Israeli Film Festival 2006 opened on Tuesday 22 August at the Palace Como Cinema in Melbourne with the award winning film ‘Close To Home’. A capacity audience, Senators Stephen Conroy (Victoria) and Alan Ferguson (South Adelaide) officially opening the Film Festival and animated discussions at the post-screening reception all proved to be the perfect launch to the Festival.
